Hello
I am Daniel.
Photographer from the Stubai Valley.
The most meaningful moments don't announce themselves. They simply happen — and they're gone before you can name them. With my father's camera, I learned early on to hold on to exactly that: not the polished shot, but the second just before it. The tension, the light, the mood that can shift in an instant.
When I'm at a wedding today, I bring that same eye with me: for the quiet smile, the brief look exchanged across a room, the small gestures between people who love each other. Moments no one can stage — and exactly that is what makes them worth keeping.
Daniel guided us through our wedding — one of the most important days of our lives — wonderfully, and captured the most beautiful and emotional moments with so much care.
Every single photo tells a funny, special, emotional story — we're truly in love with the images he made for us!
My approach
How I work
At a wedding, I'm never just the person holding the camera. I'm the one who arrives first in the morning and leaves last in the evening — reading the room before something happens, knowing when to stay in the background, and knowing when it's the right moment to step in.
I don't believe in staged perfection. What interests me are the small, real moments: the look between you before the ceremony starts. The laugh nobody planned. The way one of you holds the other's hand.
My goal is that you barely notice me during your day — but that you end up holding photos that take you right back into the moment the second you see them.
What matters to me
Honesty over staging
I photograph people, not poses. What stays in your photos are the moments that actually happened — not the ones we set up.
Reliability as the foundation
You should be able to enjoy your wedding day without ever thinking about me. My job is to be there — calm, prepared, and always a step ahead.
A collaboration, not a transaction
For me, our work doesn't begin with the booking and doesn't end with the gallery. I want you to feel taken care of from the very first conversation.
Away from the camera
When I'm not photographing
The Stubai Valley is more than a workplace for me — it's where I'm rooted. This is where I draw energy and where I find inspiration.
In summer, the mountains pull me up either on a mountain bike or on foot. In winter, I find my balance climbing indoors. Moving through the landscape grounds me — and that's exactly the feeling I try to bring into my photos.
A more unexpected passion of mine is Lego architecture models. Brick by brick, something new takes shape — with patience, precision, and an eye for the small details. That's also how I work as a photographer: attentive, calm, and finding pleasure in the process until everything fits.
Travel, for me, isn't just a holiday. It's a way to widen my eye and discover new things. Last winter I was in Lapland photographing the northern lights, and the year before I had the privilege of shooting a wedding in Finland. Every encounter, every landscape, every kind of light tells its own story. And all of it flows back into my work — into every photo I make for the people who trust me with their day.

Your wedding day is something deeply personal — and choosing your photographer should feel just as personal.
I'd love to get to know you, hear your story, and see together whether we'd be a good match. There's no pressure, no commitment — just a conversation to start with.Ich freue mich darauf, euch kennenzulernen, eure Geschichte zu hören und gemeinsam herauszufinden, ob wir gut zueinander passen.
